Welcome to the Access Music Archive (Beta). While this interface is in active beta development, the core infrastructure is built on a highly stable foundation. Our official knowledge base has been globally accessible at pool.musicalheritage.org for over 16 years, providing continuous documentation of music metadata since 2010.

While the digitization of historical physical media is running at full speed, storing and globally streaming high-resolution FLAC files is hitting severe hardware bottlenecks. Our legacy Coraid CLN21 storage arrays hosted at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) are reaching the end of their operational lifespan. We urgently need to migrate to modern, fault-tolerant NVMe storage nodes.
